Tyme Bank is a digitally smart bank that enables people to an account in less than 5 minutes and experience simple, low-cost banking.

The Challenge

The challenge was to effectively communicate the bank’s ease of use, speed, and simplicity while appealing to the dynamic University of Johannesburg community. Additionally, Tyme Bank needed to drive customer acquisition through this activation while ensuring a smooth, engaging experience that reflected its digitally smart approach to banking.

What we did

We conceptualized and executed an activation at the University of Johannesburg aimed at introducing Tyme Bank’s services to the student population. The activation focused on showcasing how students could easily open an account in less than five minutes while highlighting the bank’s simple, low-cost offerings. Through engaging on-campus activations, the agency created awareness and excitement around the brand, ultimately driving customer acquisition by encouraging students to sign up on the spot.
